Question:
WHAT IS THIS
I've been hearing many ppl say how excited they r about joining the "Century Club", but i can't find any information about it. Please tell me what it is and what allows you to "join" it. — Laura R. (posted on May 13, 2003)

Laura, that just means you've hit the 100 pound loss. :))

It is a fictitious club whose membership (there are no dues or activities)
is made up of people who have lost 100+ pounds. When you hit the 100
pounds lost mark, you become a member of the Century Club. Century being
100 years and all....

Laura, there is a "Century Club", but not on the AMOS website. As
the previous posters have mentioned, it's for those who have lost 100lbs+ I
have asked, and you will see in the library, go under "century",
and you will find that this is a club that MANY would like to see on this
communities' website. I looked and found people requesting it all the way
back to 1999, I think it was. Can't tell you why it hasn't
"materialized" yet, it's up to the Director of Member Services
and/or the Founder I guess to make the final decision, but I would say that
it is not actually fictitious, as such~~Barbara Thompson, author of the
book Weight Loss Surgery "Finding the Thin Person Inside You!"
has a Century Club. I'd LOVE for us to REALLY belong to our own.
