Question:
Has anyone tried Walk The Pounds Off?

Leslie Sansone walk the pouns off. I bought the set 1,2, and 3 mile walk. For those of you that have used it does it really work walking in place?    — Lisa B. A. (posted on January 9, 2003)

I bought them a few months ago & love them. I started with the 1, worked up to the 2 mile, and am currently alternating between the 3 & 4 mile every other day. I take my measurements monthly and last month I lost 4 inches off of each thigh! I know it sounds incredible-I could hardly believe it myself! I think that eventually I will need something more challenging, but for right now they have been great. Best wishes in your process.

I started with the 2 lb walking balls and now have the belt as well. I love these tapes! I have purchased about 25 of them and my favorites are the "walk strong" and the "kick boxing" ones. The weight training is easy but it really makes me sweat! Leslie Sansone is not annoying like many of the others are. She is great and tells you what is coming up next. After using these tapes, I tried one of the Richard Simmon's tapes and yuck! There is no comparison. Leslie Sansone's tapes are the best. I even wear the same color as the people in the tapes and it makes me feel like "one of the group" LOL! Check them out!

I'm only getting started, but use the 1-mile (no weights yet) and really like it!! My whole family does it together.

I just bought the One Mile "Walk Away the Pounds" video. I love it! I just started exercising about a week ago, after my 8 week healing period. I'm now 9.5 weeks post op and am just getting started, but I can do the whole tape, and I bought a set of 1 and 2 pound dumbells from wal-mart to use with the video. I'm still on the little one pound dumbells, but am trying to still be careful with my tummy muscles. After the video I can proudly tell myself each day that I walked a mile in my living room. These are great tapes, and I plan to work up to the 2 mile as soon as I feel fit enough. Highly recommended for pre and post ops!! Hugs, Kim S. Open RNY Nov. 4/02 (-71)

I absolutely love Walk Away The Pounds. I have the 1,2,and 3 mile tapes with the abdominal belt and cords. I bought it last year after my 3rd baby was born. We recently moved and I "retired" the tapes for a while, but got them back out several days ago. I am trying to drop a few pounds before Lap RNY on 2-11-03. Francie

Yes, Walk Away The Pounds REALLY works. I've been doing it for almost a year. You should see the muscles in my legs. I got to the point where the 3 mile walk was a breeze and I thought "This isn't working". Then I laid off for three weeks because of the holidays, started back yesterday and the 3 mile walk kicked my butt! Today I'm starting back with the one mile and working my way back up. Yes, it works.

I have the 1, 2, and 3 mile set and just purchased her ab tape. I love the set. On weekdays I use the 2 mile tape and add to it over the weekend. My legs are strong again and it's helped with breathing/asthma related problems and I can't say enough how good the program is. Enjoy!

Our church just started an aerobic class and we are using this series of tapes. I loved it last night and I hope to get me a set to use when we are not having the classes! You will walk your butt off, girl! Enjoy!
