Question:
Can you still have surgery if you have fibramyalgia in your rib cage?

Yes, you can! I have fibromyagia and I had surgery on March 25, 2002....I have lost over 90 lbs. My fibro still bothers me, as a matter of fact I have been having the pain in my left ribs for about the last week or so, but all in all, I haven't had as much trouble since losing so much weight. I think one thing that contributes to the rib pain (in my case) is that my breasts are so heavy. Hopefully once I get to goal things will get better!
