Question:
what are angels
and how do they work? — Michael H. (posted on June 14, 2002)

ideally, an angel is a person who has been through the WLS experience, and
can offer support to the pre-op, as well as keep everyone updated via the
message board here as to the pre-op's status once they go in for surgery.
if they live closeby, they can visit and encourage the newly post-op
patient, and offer the family some experience as to what is happening with
their loved one. they are really just a supportive, knowledgable person
for you to lean on through your journey.
