Has anyone been approved having a BMI of 40 with BCBS Health Options in the year 2002

Farrah, I have BCBS of IL PPO, I am not sure if they are similar plans, but I was approved in the end of Feb of this year. The surgery had to be medically necessary for me to have it and I qualify with my weight,being 100+ over and have co-morbidities of GERD, high BP and foot problems due to weight. I have a bmi of 46.
