Question:
Card?

I have seen a couple of references to some kind of card you can get. I think it has something to do with being able to order smaller portions.    — [Anonymous] (posted on January 12, 2002)

Yes, my surgeon's office has such a card. I got it on my first follow-up visit after my lap rny. You have to ask for it, probably a phone call would do. Mine says something to the effect of "Please allow this customer to order from the children's menu as he/she has had abdominal surgery...." It's the size of a business card. I intend to have mine laminated. I have yet to use it at 2-1/2 months post op, mainly because I stay away from restaurants now. But maybe someday I will. It's good to have anyway.
