Question:
Has anyone overcome their insurance exclusion policy?

My insurance company has an exclusion policy and refuses to approve my surgery. Has anyone out there been able to overcome this insurance policy or do I need to change insurance companies?    — [Anonymous] (posted on January 6, 2002)

I got approved after one appeal letter. E-mail me and I will share my letter with you. My husband's policy had an exclusion that was worded "treatment for obesity and weight loss conditions not covered".
