Question:
Has anyone tried the Walk Away the Pounds program?
I need to get up and get moving . . . unfortunately, I'm not good at moving outside and specifically not moving without a partner. Finding dependable walking partners is difficult. Has anyone tried/purchased the above program? I was watching the infomercial this morning and almost ordered it . . . but decided to come here for advice before I spent yet more money on exercise videos that end up on the shelf with all the others. — Notgivingup (posted on November 17, 2001)

I really like Leslie Sansone's workout videos. I have the Walk Away the
Pounds series as well. It is great! The moves are simple, and you can
work at your own pace and intensity. I really like them a lot because I'm
not very coordinated, and I feel it is a better workout than just walking
on the treadmill or something. Try it, and let me know what you think!

Haven't tried them personally but I saw them on QVC yesterday for a lot
cheaper than the infomercial. Just thought I'd let you know. You can look
online and probably find them there.

I'm not sure about this walk away pounds program, but I am going to dig out
my Susan Powter tapes. They are wonderful! Her tape allows for the
beginner up to the advance. If you are interested, email me at
[email protected] and I can give you more details. Good luck!

oh my goodnessI LOVE WALK AWAY THE POUNDS TAPES!!!!!!! i do the 1 mile
first thing in the morning and the 2 mile when i lay my 3y/o twins down for
a nap, i cannot believe how much they have helped to shape my legs and
butt!!! i got mine in june and had to call for new weight balls in july and
the customer service was great, just this last month i called again cause
my 1 mile tape pooped out on me and the sent me the whole set of three all
over again for free! i actually told them i should be on their
commercial(hee hee) several people in my wls support group have also
ordered them since i took them to our meeting one night and showed them! i
should get a kick back for all the sets they have sold to people i know(hee
hee) all i can say is--well worth the money!!!!---best of luck!

I Love these tapes as well. I bought my set of 3 videos/weight balls at
Sam's Club of 17.99. I consider it a bargain. They are easy, fun, and you
can walk at any hour of the day no matter what the weather is like or what
state of dress you are in.

I love my Walk Away the Pounds DVD! It has given my so much energy and I
feel wonderful. I would recommend them to everyone. Mile 1 is only 18
minutes long and it's very simple to follow. You will surely see results
after the first week. And you dont even have to leave the comfort of your
own home. :-) I Love it!

I wore out my first set of tapes and bought a new set. It's a great
program. I've done the set with the weights and now have the set with the
ab belt.
