Question:
Has anyone dealt with contract exclusions for weight loss with BC BS Carefirst MD?

Having tried weight loss drugs, found there was a contract exclusion for weight loss. Has anyone else had this and been able to qualify for surgery with about 6 comorbidity factors and a BMI over 50? Yes, I was approved but I am not exactly sure how everything was worded. My surgeon handled all of that. Robin
