Question:
Pollock on my gallbladder
anyone told they have a cholesterol pollock on their gallbladder, and if yes, does this prevent or help your chances for surgery? Signed: Worried — Tica G. (posted on October 26, 2001)

i think u mean a polop. this is a growth on an internal part that can be
benign or malignent. if ur doctor is not worried about than u neednt be
either. as far as ur surgery is concerned...alot of drs remove the
gallbladder anyway as part of the wls. check with ur surgeon.

Tica, maybe you mean a "polyp." I think cholesterol is a fairly
stable substance, if it isn't interfering with the gallbladder function, I
should think it wouldn't matter. Perhaps you might check with your
surgeon.....
