Fluid Build up

I need help! I had open RNY on 04/12/01 and I had a JP drain on my left side, because they had to remove my spleen. Well ever since they took it out 3 weeks ago the site has been draining puss. I had a CT scan done 08/23/01 and it shows fluid build up in my abdomen. The doctor said I will probably have to go to RAdiology and they will put a needle and a tube in to remove the fluid, but he also told me the tube will stay in for a while. Has anyone else had fluid build up. The procedure scares me. I hate pain. I have already been through so much. I just got off I.V's 1 month ago. I was on them for 3 months because of a leak in both stomachs. Can anyone help?    — lynbaby B. (posted on August 25, 2001)
