Question:
Can these be considered comorbidities?

Can borderline high cholesterol and a triglycerides level of 591 ( normal 200 ) be a comorbidities? thanks    — phxbbw6ft1 (posted on August 7, 2001)

While not always related to obesity, you can call them co-morbids.... And where insurance is concerned, if you think it will help, don't leave anything out.

In the insurance world, a co-morbidity is a co-existing disease. Those aren't diseases so they won't be considered as co-morbidities. But, they most definitely are conditions that would affect your insurer's decision.
