I would like to hear from self-pay patients of DR.CAPELLA IN N.J.

Has anyone had a VBG & Gastric Bypass with Dr.Capella as a self pay patient? Can you please describe your experiences. How would you rate the hospital,Hackensack University Medical Center on a scale of 1-10, 1 being poor. Were you quoted one price but had to pay a significant additional amount subsequently? I don't know too much about Dr Capella.....But Hackensack Hospital is a 10, like a country club.......Why don't you try Dr Hans Schmidt, an excellant surgeon, does all his surgery lap, he works out of Hackensack.

I was Partial self pay but Dr Capella did my surgery at Hackensac Hosp. A excellent beautiful place the staff was wonderful. My stay there made the discomfort of surgery alot better. the staff was very attentive and Dr.Capella and his son came to visit daily and if I had any concerns if the staff could not answer they contacted Dr. Capella and he returned the calls immediately. I highly recommend Dr. Capella and Hackensac Hosp. they are very pricey but you get what you pay for and it was money well spent. Good luck with your decision and your surgery.
