Hi! I'm in Southern California and have Blue Cross HMO/PPO and decided to use the PPO for the surgery. I just consulted my Blue Cross Provider Directory. That's your best source, I think, for who is in network. Good luck!

I believe that Dr. Aaron Baggs in Burlingame, CA accepts Blue Cross. He performed my surgery on May 7, 2001 and he is wonderful. 650-652-0600

I don't know which area you are coming from, or which procedure you are researching, but there is a surgeon in SF. who performs the Duodenal Switch, either open or lap. He is Dr. Robert Rabkin. He has a website at http://www.pacificsurgery.com/ Hope this helps. Good luck with your search.

The doctors at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento accept Blue Cross PPO. (Dr. Bruce Wolfe, Nguyen, Goldman, etc).
