Question:
Has anyone a had Scar Revision after RNY?

I am considering a thigh lift, recomended by my plastic surgeon, I did not think to ask him about a scar revision on my RNY scar, Has anyone had this, and how does it look???? Thanks Debbie H    — peaceangel58 (posted on June 9, 2001)

Yes, I had a scar revision after my stomach stapling in 1984. I had the revision in 1988. It helped tremendously. My skin keloids really badly. (if you don't know what that is, when I have a scar it raises up and looks almost "ropey"). Anyway, It helped me tremendously, in fact, it will tan, and is really not very noticable.
