I have a consult in May with Dr,Matthew Kirkland in Philadelphia, PA and wanted to know what tests h

And if he or his office staff will help you to find a Nutritionist as well as a Psycologist that is weight loss surgery friendly to see for insurance approval (which is madatory with my insuance co.)I have no idea where to start as far as this goes, and I hope that he helps his patients with this. Dr. Kirkland is a great doctor..He requires you to have an EKG, bloodwork and a chest x-ray...He does not require a psych eval or for you to see a nutritionist...If your insurance company requires these things Dr. Kirkland's office staff will guide you in the right direction to get the process started...Do not worry you are in good hands, I am 3 weeks post op and have no complaints... Good Luck
