Question:
What is splenda used for?
I have heard so much about Splenda. What exactly do you use it for? When post op does one use it? Thank you very much. :-) — Mary B. (posted on April 18, 2001)

Splenda is a sugar substitute. I use it for sweetening hot and iced tea,
koolaid and also in my unsweetened applesauce. It can also be used in
cooking and baking. Their website is www.splenda.com - it tells you about
the product, has recipes as well as a way to purchase it over the internet
(although many stores now carry it). I like it and so does my husband who
never likes sugar substitutes.

I used it anywhere I would have used sugar before. I really like it in
baking, roasting, pan frying, etc.

I use it regularly and my daughter uses it on cereal (she is 6) and doesn't
even know the difference. It is safe for diabetics too
