Does NY medicade pay for Weight loss surgery?

My question is about the stomach bypass surgery. Hello my name is Farrah Villa i am 23 years old i weigh close to 400 pounds. i will like to have the stomach bypass surgery. The only plan that i have is medicaid. Will that plan pay for the surgery. I happen to know that medicad will pay for the surgery as long as it is medically nessary. Dr. Cole does this surgery and accepts medicad he is in upstate but he is very good
