Has Anyone Had WLS done by a DR. in NY. and Self payed?How much,and Who?

I know someone who flew into Dr. Michel Gagner in NYC at Mt. Sinai and was self pay a few weeks ago for the DS. He also does RNY and lapband trials. His surgical fee is $12,000 and in the eminent lap surgeon in this hemishere. Don't know how the hospital structures payment.

Dear Karen, Dr Gagner is at the top of his field. He also works with three wonderful associates at Mt Sinai, Dr Herron (my surgeon), Dr Pomp (My sister's surgeon) and Dr Inabnet.
