Question:
Has anyone out there used CoreSource for R -n-Y surgery?
If there is someone out there, did you find a doctor in your ppo "network"? I cannot find one in my network in the state of Tn. or Atlanta area. Surely a surgeon in this field has to be a part of this network somewhere in this area. Help me please! Thanks, Helen [email protected] — Helen B. (posted on February 20, 2001)

Hi there. I also have CoreSource, though I'm in Colorado. I couldn't get
any info. off the website and calling is a nightmare. I contacted a
surgeon directly and they are helping me follow up. If you can find any
surgeon in the area, you might be able to get some help. If and when I
hear something, I'll be sure to post it. I know others have gone through
Core Source. The problem seems to be that the companies that use Core
Source all set their own policy so they aren't very good with surprises.
Also, their database is WAY out of date. Hang in there.

I now have CoreSource insurance out of Indiana. I didnt have them when I
had surgery, and its a good thing. I had been approved for surgery and had
my surgery date. 4 days before surgery my husbands company switched
insurance carriers (actually there was a company merger so we had to take
the new companies insurance) and Coresource refused to pay for it, luckly
the hospital switched around a few people and got me in before the old
insurance ended. What a nightmare. Best of luck to you.
