what should we be eating to lose the most weight in the window of 12-18months?

Eating foods rich in protein will not only give you energy, but will also
make you feel less hungry throughout the day. Fruits and veggies are
always good choices. Try to stay away from canned veggies and fruit canned
with added sugar. Fresh or frozen-fresh is usually best. And water, water,
water! Make sure you get in at least 6 8oz. glasses of water a day. My
doctor told me that it's best not to drink with meals or 30 minutes before
eating and to wait at least 30 minutes after eating to drink liquids. He
says that by not doing this you do 2 things: 1) You get full right away
and aren't able to eat your meal and 2) The liquids flush the food through
your system too fast and you end up feeling hungry sooner than you would
otherwise. Good luck!
