For every hundred calories you should be getting at least 10 grams of
protien. Most protien shakes have a lot more than that. The Soy Protein
drink I have has 25 grams of protien per 120 calories. You should try to
avoid the sugar altogether and perhaps add some sugar substitute of your
own. The protien drink I have has less than 1 gram of carbs per serving.
I've heard thought that four grams is acceptable. I usually make one up
with a few bits of frozen banana and it gives the protein some flavor.

The brands I use for myself deliver about 30g of protein for less than 6g
of sugar. And they mix with water, so there are no hidden calories or
sugars. No milk, no juices, however we mix 'em with diet pop or s/f Tang
or Crystal Light. I also prefer them to deliver me that 30g in a very
small volume, under 8 oz. Can't absorb more than 30g at one time, so that's
the measuring stick I use.

You want high protein, atleast 15 grams or more, and less sugar, 5 grams or
less. The less sugar will keep you from dumping.
