Hi Joanne...it depends on which policy you have. I have UHC, Select Plus,
POS. My insurance paid 100% of all costs after my $10 copay. Here's the
breakdown: <a

Costs</a>. Hope this helps!

I have United Health Care POS and they approved me within 24 hours and they
are paying 100% after my co-pay of $100! They were a GREAT company to deal
with. My surgery is 11/27 and I can hardly wait! Good luck.

I have United Healthcare Select Plus POS (Qwest)
They said all I am going to pay is $100 copay for hospital stay. My
surgery is December 1st. I was approved in 3 days, BMI 49 height 5'half
inch & weight 250.
There are 2 other women where I work that are having Duodena Switch also,
and their daughters, I am the first though. Good luck!

I have United Health Care PPO, It may depend on what policy your employer
carries. They payed mine 100% after I payed $100 dollars per day
hospital(I was in for 3 days)$300 is not bad for a $15,000 + surgery. They
approved in 24hrs.
