Forgot a couple: proximal, medial, distal = the amount of intestine
bypassed. Proximal a little, distal a lot. Each surgeon uses his own
measurements to define these. Hope this helps!

Hi, i will answer those that I can. ready? RNY~
Roux-en-Y.. Distal, Proximal, Medial ~ refer generally
to the length of bypass in the intestines. Dr.s definations generally vary
as to the length of each. AMOS~ is the Association for
Morbid Obesity Support as for the rest i know what they are but couldn't
spell them with out checking.. so i will get the correct spelling and check
back to see if they have been answered. Good luck!
