Question:
What happens to the excess skin after you lose a lot of weight?

That depends on several different things, ie. your age, level
of activity, water consumption, how well you keep your skin
moisturized. I myself am 36 years old, have had 2 children
and a hysterectomy. I have no elasticity left in my stomach,
and have had an apron of skin since I was a teenager. I will
have to have that skin surgically removed. I hope to also have
my breasts lifted at that time. As far as excess skin on my
arms and legs, I'll try to tone that up as much as possible
with exercise. I guess I'll just live with what's left. The
way I look at it is a little excess skin is certainly easier
to live with than this extra person I'm carrying around.
