Dear Steph, I Am sorry to say that I dont have that insurance, but if you are looking to find out some information on if they do cover the surgery then let me suggest to you a few things. First of all, Look in this site under insurance and see if you can find them, Second if you might want to breeze through your policy and see if you have a exclusion clause or such, and third If you seek out a surgeon, they normally have a staff that will look into that for you. Since no one else seem to answer you post other then to point out that you used caps (main topic in here it seems) I hope that some of my ideas will help, Anymore questions and feel free to email me directly *Smiles*....By the way Dont let the other post get to you....If they dont like the caps they can just scroll over em...:o)

First off, I don't mind the caps. If the post is important enough to you, then you will make an effort to read it. We are all here for the same reson. Attacking someone here is the same as someone attacking any one of us because of our weight problems. Furthermore, it just supports the sterotype of the grumpy fat person. I know onw more than one occassion "fat" has been coupled with an expletive to describe anyone one of us, so get off this young lady's back. She is just seeking adivce. And if you know a thing or two about internet ettiquite, you would know that she is yelling, pleading for help. Those of you who made this comment to her about the caps nust not have had the insurance struggles in the same manner. I have and it is enough to make you scream! I have been rejected because I have no co-morbs like diabetes, but I am 150 pounds over weight for my height and body frame. SO LEAVE HER ALONE! Now, I have Ethix, too. Ethix Southeast. My policy says that they exclude treatment of obesity, but if the surgery is used to treat other symptoms or problems aggravated by the obesity, they will approve it. It takes them 48 hours to issue a decision. All of your aches and pains count, this is what I am relying on. My policy is an 80/20, though and since I am seeing an out of network Doctor, they will only cover 60%. So please e-mail me, I will need your help and you have mine! Aisha
