I was off work about 10 working days or so. I did desk work. I've known
people to be back at work in a week, though! As long as there's no
lifting.... I was more disabled by more co-morbidities than by my surgery!

My doctor has told me that it would be at least 3-4 weeks before I can go
back to work after surgery. So I have already been approved for a leave of
absence and am waiting for approval of my short-term disability.

My doc recommends 6 weeks - similar to a c-section.

Hi There! I was only off work for 3 weeks or 15 working days. I am a
supervisor, so there was no strenuous physical activity. I found that my
energy level was still low, but it got better each day. I was worried
about being able to return to work and eat like I should, instead of fast
foods. My co-workers are of great support and let me know that my weight
loss is apperant. Good Luck and my thoughts and prayers are with you!

It depends on what type of work you do. I work in an office and sit most
of the time, so I was only off 3 weeks. The first day back was tireing,
but I have felt great since. Good Luck to you.
