Dear Robin,
You may need to explore different meds and you may need some professional
support for a while if you continue feeling so depressed. Try to find some
appropriate help and support so you can enjoy the new life you are working
so hard to achieve. You might also need to get into a WLS support group
for a while. Not many others will truly understand the enormous changes
you are making.
Good luck and don't give up, you've come too far!

Were you depressed before you had surgery? This is November and daylight
savings time just ended. It sure gets dark early. Maybe your depression is
because of Seasonal Affective Disorder. I'm two weeks post-op and mine
flared up again just terrible. Next follow-up with my regular doc, he and I
are going to have a little chat.

I am not sure how to say this without offending you or anybody else
but..... I can only assume you are young because after reading everything
on this site for hours and hours, 100000sss of hours their are many people
like me that are in limbo waiting for their insurance co. to approve their
surgery. You are one of lucky ones who was lucky enough to have the surgery
. How about we change problems ??? You can be depressed waiting for my
approval??? How can you be depressed if you are losing your wieght??? If i
get my approval for my surgery i shall be for ever grateful for the rest of
my life.
