I take Zoloft without a problem. I took pills the day after RNY surgery.

I was told by my surgeon that there was nothing that I could not take for
medicine. There is no medicine that is bigger than the opening to the new
stomach. I have had no problems with fairly big antibiotic pills.......

Yes, You can still take Prozac. You will have to switch to liquid because
the tablets are capsules and can not be cut in half. It doesn't bother
your stomach at all.

Hi There,
Yes, there is a liquid prozac. Consult your doc about "hurting your
stomach" though.
Hugs to spare

Prozac is the only anti-depressant that also comes in liquid form and you
can take it after WLS. Good Luck.
