Question:
for those canadian' people that have had to obtain the there surgery out of country

does ohip cover the costs of all the needed supplements that needs to be taken after the surgery ? if so how does one find out how to get the aprroval ? if not is there any other alternates that one can look in to about it ?    — christina C. (posted on September 15, 2005)

OHIP will cover the surgery here in canada and for u to have it in canada, but u have to apply for out of country prier appovel application have your surgeon fill it out submit and wait. If u have it done here in canada there is a time to wait sometimes up to 3 years, mine was only 18 months.......... as for OHIP covering the supplements if u have drug coverage if your doctor perscribes something then more then likely it will be covered by your health/drug coverage.
