Trying having a protien shake for breakfast and 1 poached egg. Thats is
what i eat and it seems to work great for me. Then I usually have a pice
of beef jerky for snack (high in protien). I dont eat salads because my
doctor said that was a no no with having WLS, because it seems to lubricate
things and allows you to eat more. So try not to eat salads or any ruffage
on sandwich's.

I have seen a kind of "chewing gum" or tablet that helps with dry
mouth-- maybe you could try that? Have you seen your dentist to make sure
your salivary glands are OK? There are prescription meds that can help with
that. Best of luck to you.

I'm two years out and I don't eat a lot of meat. I perfer soups. Healthy
Valley Organic Soup (no salt added) is great. I toss in a slice of FF
cheese, diced up veggies, powder milk. What is great about it is it's
liquid, I can have 8 ozs and its high in protein. I also toss in meat but
I chop the meat in my chopper so it very fine and you really don't have to
chew it very much. Are you drinking at least 48 to 64 oz of liquid a day?
Hard Candy SF is ok but you don't want to eat to much of it. It gives me
gas! I have a protein shake in the morning, 20 oz of coffee, a lot of
water during the day (crystal light, etc.), soup in the afternoon, pudding
as a snack or yogart w/ blueberries, soup or another protein drink at
night. It all depends. Good luck to you.

When I feel I need to quench my thirst after eating I have a few grapes or
a few orange segments. I find that this really helps.

I have used "Aqua Drops" after eating to moisten my mouth. They
are sugar free. Their website is www.aqua-drops.com
