Question:
Anyone have allergy to sublingual B-12 that causes mouth sores under tongue?
I started my B-12 sublingual tablets a week or so ago... ever since then, I have sores under my tongues - little ulcers. My doctor has not heard of this reaction before, but my best friend's doctor told her that if this happened to her - she was probably allergic to it... just wondering if anyone else had this issue or heard about it?? Hi. I know this sounds wierd but I have the same little white soars. I
would change the brand or you might be detoxing. That is what I am doing. I
am breaking out and I get those soars. Hope this helps.

Denise- I had a comparable problem when I switched to the GNC brand of
sublingual B-12. Because they did not easily dissolved, I found they
irritated my tongue. I took about one week off to let the irritation clear
up and once I switched back to the Trader Darwin brand (which dissolves
very quickly and is available at Trader Joes), I never had the problem
again. Good luck.

YES! I just purchased the Rexall brand b-12 and have those sores, I have
always used TwinLab brand and never had a problem but can't find them in
stores around here so I bought Rexall, tastes nasty and leaves sores. I've
ordere Twinlab in the past from Vitalady.com for $11.89/250 dots but found
them on Vitacost for $9.26. And they taste so much better and dissolve
quicker too.

if you continue to have problems with the subligual, you do have other
options, the tablets or shots. I just take tablets (1 250 mg tablet daily)
and my b12 levels were high, so now I only take them every other day.
