I am 2 years out from my surgery. About a year after I also had foot drop
for months. Went to neurologists and said that it was from me crossing my
legs. Affected the nerves and caused foot drop and numbness in my left
leg. Of course I was crossing my legs ALL the time because I finally
COULD! It did finally fade after 4 months and haven't had a problem since!
Good Luck!

Have you started any new meds? Some of the cholesterol lowering drugs can
cause this too.

If you have foot drop you should see your primary doctor ASAP. It could be
a sign of neurological problem or nerve problems. I wouldn't want to mess
with that. Good luck.

Foot Drop is a sign that something is going or has gone wrong in your back.
You need to see your doctor and get this evaluated. It could be something
as simple as a pinched nerve or something more. Nobody can tell you until
your case is evaluated. A neurologist is the best pace to get an
evaluation.

It could be your sciatic nerve. I got this 3 yrs ago and had permanent
nerve damage from it. A chiropractor may help also but I had to get an MRI
and they found a bulging disk in the L5 area.
