Hi Brenda,
I had nausea and vomiting for 13 months.. not my fault or anything I did
or didnt eat. I had an enlarged pouch.. a mechanical failure of the
surgery.. atonic pouch is the correct term.. means no muscle tone and no
ability to function as it was intended. Anyway, to make a long story short,
I was scoped multi times.. and eventually , after getting very sick, had a
revision to reconstruct the pouch.. I do hope your nausea and vomiting
cease soon.. Feel better.
Hugs,

I had nausea around that time (I'm currently at 15 weeks post op). I
called my surgeon and they set me up for an endoscopy where they went in
and looked at my pouch and the stoma. They had to put a balloon in and
stretch the stoma so my food could leave my pouch easier. That took care
of it for the most part. I have occasional nausea now, but nothing like
before. Hope this helps...Kathy

Brenda great question I'm 3.5 months Post-Op and have nausea, I thought my
food was spoiled, but it has happened even when I have not eaten, which is
scarey because some heart attacks start with nausea. According to the
other post-ops it happens and should go away.
