Just wondering if 90 pounds in 4 months is quick. I have gone from a 30 to a size 16. I am thrilled but would love to hear how others have done a well. — diannapullen (posted on March 29, 2004)

I think that 90 in 4 months is a bit on the fast side. However, that said,
see what your surgeon says at your check up. Everyone loses at a different
rate so try not to get into comparisons with others. Good job.

It is off the charts above average but take it while you can get it. It
does slow down eventually.

I am coming up on my four month anniversary and I have lost 55 lbs. So 90
lbs sounds fast, however, I know that everyone loses at a different rate
and also those who have more weight to lose will lose faster than others
who don't have as much. It sounds to me like you are doing an awesome job!!

No amount is too much
fall on your knees and thank God
remember the first 4 months are so important
My doc said if your BMI was not in the Super MO
that you should be at your 1/2 mark at the end of the 4th month..ARE YOU?
I had lost
67 and that was just about 1/2 way
good luck
the loss will slow dramatically from this time forward
if you follow plan
and do not eat the sugars and excess carbs
You will see goal
I have seen folks slow or stop their loss before their 6th month because of
sugars and carbs
It is your choice
Make the right one
see goal in your mind
do not let that out of sight
and walk walk walk
and follow plan
good luck
your doing super

Since I had surgery right around the same time you did and I have lost 115
pounds, I have to say you are doing just fine. I have some people that say
I am losing too fast, others say I am doing just fine. The thing is, I
started at 345 so I have a lot to lose, and as long as I am happy with my
progress nothing else matters. You should check out the November message
board, there are quite a few others that are right where we are. Keep up
the good job.

Your one of those lucky ones! I know another girl who started at 333, and
got down to 124 in less than a year. she was a fast loser too CONGRATS!

I think it's fast, but enjoy it... I'm jealous! I am also 4 months out,
but down only 62.5 lbs. I wish I was down 90!

At my 4 month mark I was down almost 100 lbs, but I haven't lost clothing
sizes that fast, darn it all. I started at a size 32 on the bottom, and
I'm only down to a 26/28 on the bottom, and 22/24 on top.

90 LBS IN 4 MONTHS!!! Are you kidding or teasing us??? LOL I think most
people would LOVE to be where you're at (in such a short time). I know I
would. How did you do it? Are you exercising your tale off? What is your
secret? I hope I lose as fast, but I bet I won't. I had open RNY 1/30/04.
