I'm almost 20 months out and was 440 at my consult and 427 on the day of my
surgery (07/17/02). I am 223 now and although I've been "maintaining
my weight" (I hate the "P" word :() for the last couple of
months, I am determined to eventually get to my goal of 213 (which would be
1/2 my original body weight)...JR

I am 13+ months PO and started at 442. I got to 217 before my lower body
lift 2-1/2 weeks ago, which brought me below my goal weight of 200 lbs to
198. I suspect by the time I'm done with the other two PS's I need and
find a way to maintain I will be in the 180-190 range, which is as low as I
want to go. I'm 5'9 and carry 200 lbs pretty darn good - not counting the
thunder thighs. LOL
<p>You can accomplish anything you want to. Just work the program to
the max!

I started at 378 and I am flucturating between 335-329 with about 70 more
lbs to get to goal. It is a struggle more now but I just keep plowing
along-I know it will come off in time. Good Luck

i am 5'3" and started out at 315. I am now 22 months post op and range
between 162-165. I had gotten down to 151 after my tummy tuck but I've put
back on some weight. I think my body is "happier" at this weight
even though I want to be smaller still. Good luck...

I had surgery 12-4-02, I am 5'5" and weighted 312 lbs the day of
surgery, I now weight 136, and I have had no complications and would
recomend this surgery to anyone....Wouldn't you? It is like a new lease on
life. I have just only reasonly gotton a small hernia noticed on my yearly
exam with my pcp, but it is very small, (smaller than tip of baby finger
she says)and it doesn't hurt, it just lets me know its there if I lean
against a counter or something. Will have to start thinking about plastics
soon and will be seeing bariatric dr. soon and know he will ask. Take Care
and God Bless you, Write if you want to me at [email protected], Cinde

I am 14 months postop, started out at 325, and now am at 165. I lost 150
of those pounds at 10 months, and plateaued from months 10 - 13 because of
poor eating habits. But I'm back on my protein plan now! Still have about
15 to get to goal. Had belt lipectomy in December that took off 8 pounds
of skin and fat.

I started out at 346 and am now 220 at two years post-op. I would still
like to drop 30 pounds.

Due to problems at the beginning of my surgery, my weight loss was delayed
for almost 3 months. After the problem was diagnosed the weight started
coming off at a normal pace. Now I am 17 months out and have lost 142 lbs.
Started at 334, am now 192.

Hello, I am 13 months post-op. Starting weight 305, height 5-5,now I weigh
145. I am a normal bmi. Lost 160 lbs so far..no complications. Blood work
is ok, cholesterol went down from 260 to 211. Asthma hasn't acted up since
surgery. PCOS is probably still there, but I have been having regular
periods and ovulating every month so far.

Erica...I started out at 322 and am out 21mos and currently weigh 167lbs. I
am very pleased with my weight loss. I am also still on the losing side and
have not had any plastic surgery done. I will be looking into that as my
next step.
