does aanyone have Meicare wwho has had inc to pay for a breastlift, i have a letter

I have a letter from a Wonderful dermatologist for a persistant rash in the breast area from overhang.. Wwhen I called the dr office today, they say medicare will only pay for a reduction. ??? I am going in March 15th to have my Breast Lift done and Tummy Tuck and Medicare is paying for the both of them. They will pay for a breast lift when you have a medical reason (as the rashes) to need one. I dont need a reduction either just lifted. My doctor wrote in my letter that I took the the plastic surgeon that it was medically needed. You may just need to have your letter reworded. Also did the office tell you that there is no pre authorization needed for medicare. I wish you the best of luck and congrats on your upcoming wedding.
