Question:
What is the name of the protein mix that you add to juice?
I cannot tolerate milk or milk products any more. I am looking for a protein mix I can add to juice to get my protein in. It is something like unjury I think? I am doing protein bars and they are getting old. I want something new. The mix is unflavored. Please help! I need a change. — june22 (posted on February 18, 2004)

Try the nectar protein by syntrax(sic)! They are fabulous and mix with
water. They dont have that nasty protein taste that the more milky ones
have. I love it because it is only 90 cal a serving, no fat, no carbs and
23 g of protein!!

I have found Nectar Protein to work really well. It comes in great
flavors. Both www.txwls.com or www.dpsnutrition.com have good prices and
samples.

I ordered the fruity whey protein mix off of the bariatric website. Mix it
with water, it tastes like hawiian punch. They also have lemonade. 26g of
protein in one scoop.

There is a product called Unjury which is a protein supplement. They come
in unflavored, chocolate and vanilla. It has 20 - 25 grams of protein per
scoop. You can check it out at www.unjury.com. I've tried the chocolate
and vanilla. Loved the chocolate, hated the vanilla. I am thinking about
trying the unflavored for the same reasons you mentioned.

I've recently found my favorite is Fuzzy Navel. It's mixed with water and
tastes GREAT. You can get it at http://www.bariatriceating.com . They
have samples but not of the fuzzy navel. Fuzzy Navel tastes like orange
and peach mixed. There are also a lot of other protein supplements sold
there. What I like most about the site is I don't feel like it's a company
that doesn't give a dang what we've been through. Bariatric Eating is
owned and run by one of us. Someone who's been there done that,
understands and wants to help us reach our goals. Thanks Susan Marie
you're a gem.

I am only a pre-op looking for protein, but I followed Ann B's link to
www.txwls.com. What a hit! Almost all of the protein samples (about 30)
are on sale for $1.00. They also had sample syrups for $2.00. I went to
town and bought 18 items. Shipping was only $5.95 for orders less than
$25.00. That the cheapest samples that I have been able to find.
Thanks!!!!!!!!
