Question:
Wanted S/F punch recipe!
About 10 years ago a friend made a s/f punch using bananas and orange juice. 1/2 the recipe was frozen and added to the punch before serving. I think it had sweet and low in it. Of course at the time I didn't want anything sugar free and didn't keep the recipe. Wonder if anyone would have a copy of it or one similar. I would love to make it this holiday. You can email me at [email protected] Thanks. — june22 (posted on December 16, 2003)

I know this isn't THE recipe you were looking for but it's good
none-the-less :>) 2- 12 oz. cans Orange Juice Concentrate (do not
dilute); 1 Can Pineapple Juice (46 oz.);
5 Bananas (mashed); 8 to 10 Quarts Diet Seven-Up. I wish there were a way
to make this truly low sugar (lots of sugar from the fruits :>(
Mix orange juice, pineapple juice and bananas, and freeze. Before serving,
remove
from freezer, put into punch bowl, partially thaw and add seven up. Stir
until slushy.

I'd love to know where the previous poster has found sugar-free sherbet?
I've looked high and low and I do mean everywhere and no one's ever heard
of sugar-free sherbet. As for a punch recipe, my family has been making
the following punch for years:

1 qt. water

1 pkg cherry, tropical punch or strawberry Kool-Aid

1 C. Splenda or fructose

2 half-gallon containers Tropicana orange-pineapple juice

2 liter bottle of Diet Vernors

Mix water, Splenda or fructose and packet of Kool-Aid in a small container
(you'll have a very sweet mixture). In a punch bowl, add 1 and a 1/2
containers of the orange-pineapple juice. Add the Kool-Aid mixture and 1/2
of the 2 liter bottle of Diet Vernors. Depending on how you think it
tastes, you can add the rest of the orange-pineapple juice or more Vernors.
If you can find sugar-free orange sherbet, we always use to put scoops of
this in the punch bowl right before serving. Enjoy! If you are interested
