I am a bit confused as to which you actually mean, your actual stomach or
pouch, or your abdomen??
Either way everyone is different, I really didn't have much swelling but
after about a week I felt almost normal...lol
If you have any strange symptoms I would contact your doc.
Good Luck!

The outer abdominal swelling varies from patient-to-patient. The inner
swelling at your suture sites (new stomach) and where the small intestine
is reconnected, takes 6-8 weeks, which is why most surgeons have you on a
restricted diet for that period of time. You won't know it is swollen and
you really won't feel it, but it's there. It's a fact of life that when
you go cutting on something and sewing it back together that it swells for
a while.
