Question:
my incision has 3 little pockets of flesh protruding from the incision line.
I'm afraid it will heal this way and i'll have these "bubble" like pieces sticking out. does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them? — michele T. (posted on November 5, 2003)

When did you have your surgery? I had the same thing (I had my surgery 1
month ago today) But, they have pretty much gone away. Try putting some
vitamin E or something like that on it. It helps scars to heal better.

I had the same thing after my ulcer surgery. I was a year post op from RNY
and already had some of the sagging skin. When thay went to close me back
up, There were a couple of places where it was overlapped or not quite put
back together right, leaving some 'bubble' or 'pocket' looking things. It
did heal that way and eventually started looking normal. Well, as normal
as the non-tt can look. LOL Its been a little over a year since that
surgery, and I couldnt even begin to see where those places were now.
