Question:
How much of a personal pan pizza (6 inch) from Pizza Hut can you eat?
I was just curious - how much can you eat (or can you eat more than one), and how far out are you? — raye (posted on October 17, 2003)

I don't know about those because I can't do (and don't like) all the dough.
I can eat about a piece and a half of a thin crust pizza with pepperoni
and a couple of veggies (even jalapeno's). I'm 4 months post-op.

Bread makes me feel sick so when I have tried pizza, it has been the thin
and crispy crust variety. I really didn't care for how that felt
either...10wksPost

I crave pizza but 2 bites and feel super ill. Even if I pick off and eat
just the meat and veggies I still get that sick feeling. I just dont try
anymore. :( ~Sidney~ Open 10-23-02 down 120+ and counting

I can't eat pizza at all - even the toppings alone make me sick so I gave
up on it and I really don't miss it.

Can't handle the crust. Don't touch the stuff.

Ick.. pizza always makes me feel ill. Too doughy and greasy. I avoid it.

I once read that one slice of Combination Pizza (cheese, sausage, onions,
olives, mushrooms...etc.) had as much fat as a cheesburger. Now if you
think about it, when do we ever (pre-op that is) eat just one slice? No, we
eat 3,4, maybe even 5 peices. At my most compulsive, I don't think I ate 4
cheesburgers! So, whenever I want pizza, I just remind myself of this.

I can eat about 3/4 of a THIN crust individual pizza from Donato's.
Actually, I like my crust crispy-not doughy. I order extra pizza sauce to
dip each bite in. This makes it extra moist and yummy. I am enjoying pizza
post op--I only get the cheese type, no toppings. I am almost 3 years post.
Good luck! Shelley

To be honest, I "can" eat several pieces of thin crust pizza with
no ill feelings (toppings and some of the crust). I just don't since that
really isn't the best food choice but I could. I almost wish it did make
me sick, it would be easier to avoid---now I have to use my will
power!lol...

I'm ten months out and I can eat about half of the personal pan although
there have been a very few times I ate almost 3/4. I usually have three
meats on it. I have a personal pan about once a month and have since about
three months out.

If I am really hungry a pizza hut personal pan supreme, although usually
3/4 of it. Been like this since a year out.

Hi, I can eat one slice of a personal pan from Pizza Hut...and then I eat
all the topping off the rest. I'm 10 months out.

I had 1/2 of a slice the other day (the small end), and felt sick for hours
afterward, so I guess my answer is none. I am 12 weeks out.

At 4 mos. I can eat 1.5 pieces. I've only had pizza hut 2x. The first
time was 1 piece, the second was 1.5 because I was starving. I got sick
early on from a lite hot pocket with pizza ingredients so I am still a
little weary of pizza.

I am 6 years post and I can eat one slice of cheese bread and possibly 2
slices of a personal pan. When the whole family is out and we order a large
I eat only a half slice of cheese bread and one slice of pizza. By the time
I hit the crust I am "stuffed".

The first time that I tried Pizza Hut Pizza, I had about 3 bites out of one
slice. Within about 30 minutes to an hour, I was very sick. It was the
dough that made me sick. Since then, I have ordered a veggie personal pan
pizza and ate the toppings off of 2 pieces and I was stuffed. I do fine
with the pizza when I leave the crust off.

I don't do pizza hut, but of a medium dominos pizza I can eat 1 piece with
three toppings on it. What I mean is I scrape the toppings of three slices
onto on crust and eat it with a fork. I get a lot of protein, little bit
of carbs and really enjoy my pizza - considering that 14 months ago (preop)
I could (and did) eat 6 or 7 pieces with crust of a large pizza, I'm quite
thrilled by this quantity :>)

I am 22 months post-op and 20 weeks pregnant and can eat half of one of
those, supreme. I am STUFFED afterwards, too... so I usually stop at about
2/3's of one half! :~)
