Question:
Anyone had plastic surgery with Dr Eduardo Gongora of the Genesis Clinic in Mexico?

I was wondering if anyone knows the qualifications of Dr Gongora.His prices for plastic surgery are cheap but is he a good surgeon? Does a plastic surgeon in Mexico meet the standards of the ones in the US? His clinic looks very nice on his web site but I am nervous about believing what I see on the internet. Polly, I haven't been his patient but I probably will be in the near future. He was recommend to me by my surgeon, who I trust implicitly. I went to Mexico for Open RNY and had a great experience. My surgeon had a much lower rate of complications than the surgeons I was considering in the U.S. From the research I've done, Dr. Gongora's clientele is around 75% Americans (or more, I can't remember the exact number but it was high). There's a website of Americans who have used Dr. Gongora for their PS and they love him. Hi Polly, you should check out the library = I've spoken about my experience on the board here and to people by the tons via email since I had surgery with him. HE IS AN INCREDIBLE DOCTOR! His clinic is sooo nice. All marble, spotlessly clean. His staff were so caring and truly wonderful to work with. To me plastics just don't require a license to cut they require an artistic nature. That is so true with him. He truly cares what your result will be and he has the skill to do it. My scars are incredibly thin, flat and faded. I love my results he gave me and I appreciate his work every day. And he truly cares about you. In fact my surgery was spring of '02. I just spoke with him a week, maybe two ago on a WEEKEND! He was interested in me and how I was doing and was hoping I'd make another trip down to visit. His staff are so honestly caring too. I stayed like 6 days post op and one of the girls knew I was home sick. She actually stayed in my room with me a night and kept me company! When was the last time someone in the states did that for you??! And when I returned to the clinic 6 months following my TT once one of the girls spotted me they all had to rush out. Huge smiles, lots of hugs, wanting to see how I looked after all the swelling and everything was gone. I had a great experience and highly recommend Dr. Gongora. Email me if you want to talk.
