Question:
How long was it from initial surgical consult to surgery?

I have Kaiser in central/southern california, so I will be going to San Diego Pacific Bariatric. If anyone else has been there could you tell me how long it was after the lecture that you got to have your surgical consult, and how long it was from then that your surgery date was set up.    — Suzi M. I am in CT. When I went to see Keith Zucalla, I started in October and did not get a date until the end of March. Because I was unhappy with him, I changed to Dr. Neil Floch and had a surgery date in a month. Insterestingly enough, a friend who is still with Dr. Zucalla has been told repeatedly that they will give her a suregry date but they keep blowing her off and she still has no surgery date. Hi. Have you been to the Kaiser website? I know they have LOTS of people who are going or have been to Pacific Bariatrics in SD who post on this website. Go to www.kp.org and log in as a member and then go to Health Discussions. They have bariatric discussions under Womens Health and Diet and Nutrition. Good Luck. I'm still waiting here in Portland, OR for Kaiser to move me forward in their little "game of LIFE" and I've been waiting for 8 months. ;-(
