Question:
I had double bypass two years ago, am fine now, will this keep me from having WLS.

I had a quadruple heart bypass. My cardiologist had to write me a clearance letter but I had no problem with that. Please read my bio.... it might help. Hay, this surgery saved my life... after 3 heart attacks!

Hi, Ihad a triple bypass and it didn't keep me from anything. My cardiologist was the one that got me started and I thank him everyday. 1 yr post op and 94lbs gone and still losing. Go for it you won't regret it ever. God Bless

I doubt previous heart surgery would keep you from having WLS. Your bariatric surgeon may want cardiac clearance before proceeding, but that is just a matter of some extra tests. Go for it!

By pass should not kep you from having surgery .. but surgery should keep you from having another by pass :) go for it .
