I have found the sugar free Hershey's and Reeses at United grocery stores in the TX Panhandle. Does anyone else know who sells them? (I tried the ones I found - they smell exactly the same, but aren't as sweet. Maybe my taste buds have changed! They will satisfy a sweet tooth, though.) — raye (posted on April 10, 2003)

I saw them at a 7-11 in Newport News, VA last weekend when I went on a
short trip....Maybe they have them at other 7-11's as well.

I am 7 weeks post-op and down 45 pounds.
I bought some of the Reese's and Turtles at Walmart Tuesday night. The
Reese's is wonderful, I haven't tried the Turtles yet. These sure have made
a wonderful alternative to Easter candy. :o)

I haven't tried them yet, but wanted to post a warning. They are made with
one of the sugar alcohols, maltitol or sorbitol. They probably won't make
you dump, but they are quite likely to cause diarrhea if you eat more than
a couple. I think people's tolerances for the sugar alcohols differ, but
you probably want to start with one just to see how it affects you. I do
plan to try them, though, if I can just remember to look for them.

I found them at Walgreens in Jacksonville, Florida. I bet if you ask a
retailer in your area, they could get them.

Pittsburgh area Eckerd. I was a good girl and put them back though. I know
I would just end up eating the whole bag eventually had I bought them.

I am very picky when it comes to the *fake* sweets....but the Hershey's
sugar-free Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are absolutely wonderful! I can't
tell a difference between them and the real deal! If you are looking for
other sweets for special occasions, check out my profile page or visit
