I wondered if anyone knows of a handheld/portable device that works like fitday.com. Or possibly software for a PDA/Palm Pilot device? Thanks Penny :-) — pcollin4 (posted on March 10, 2003)

I really like the site and the book for calorie king, and on the back of
the book it says "CalorieKing Food Database plus Food & Exercise
Diary for PALM OS & POCKET PC Details: CalorieKing.com" I hope
this helps.

I use a great little program on my Palm called "Ultimate Calorie
Meter. You can track many food from the existing food choices, or add new
food items yourself. www.ultimatecalorie meter.com, and you can download a
demo copy off the web to "try before you buy" You input basic
personal data at the start and the program charts progress, you can also
use it to record fluid consumption. Cost is only $20.00, and so far, (I've
been using it about a month) I really like it. I am pre-op, and have been
using it to get used to choosing better foods, ie., good protein sources.
Also, it can track exercise and calories burned, show 7-day and 28-day
averages. REcommend checking it out.
