Question:
how many calories should be consumed at 11months post-op?

My doctor said for 9 months for me about 1,000. But I'm getting more than
that now. I would guess about 1,200 would be good. Also, are you still
losing or maintaining? That can make a difference, too. Do you exercise?
That's also a factor, b/c when you exercise you need more fuel to burn, so
you can probably eat up to 1500 and be ok. But everyone is different, I've
generally heard success with 1200 calories about a year out. I eat that
now, but vigorously exercise 5 times a week and am still losing. Goodluck
to you!

I just had my one year post op check last week and the dietician said I
should be eating about 1200 calories a day. I am at my goal weight,so they
also suggested I lower my daily protein intake to 50 grams per day and add
a few more carbs.
