Question:
Has anyone lost a lot in the boobies? lolol
Okay Ladies...If you were a DD cup or above pre-op, I would love to know your experience after losing weight...how much you lost in your breasts. I am soooo hoping once I lose my weight, I won't have to have a breast reduction. I am now a gross 46DDD and I do mean gross :o( Thanks a bunch Ladies!!!! — meltedbuttr (posted on January 31, 2003)

Hi Josii: Well if you are anything like me, I went from a 46D to a 34A and
that size bra still has room in it. I lost almost everything that I once
had. I don't mind being small busted, but if they get any smaller, you
won't be able to tell if I'm coming or going....(lol)...I do plan on having
them done in July though....

You thought that was bad- I was an unheard of 38/40H ! ! Thankfully, after
losing 100lbs. in 8 months I am now a 36DD. I can finally wear pretty bras
again! Unfortunately, I sag like i'm 70yrs. old and I'm only 23 :( I plan
to get them lifted eventually.

Hi there, Josii! I was like a 48 DD and after losing 100lbs, I went to a
38/40DD, the cup is still the same! I was praying that I would get
smaller, but nothing yet. My mother still insists that I will lose them,
but considering that I had them since VERY PRE-adolescence, I may not. All
you other ladies are fortunate. Vi. open RNY 9/23/02 down 101 lbs.

I'm only 3 months out, so my experience may not count for much. I started
as a 44DDD, and I'm currently a 40DD. I've lost weight throughout the
years, and have NEVER been able to lose the boobs. In some areas of my
life this is an advantage (meeting men, heehee), but in others (i.e.,
wearing clothes, not looking like a freak) its definitely a disadvantage.
My guess is that we are all built differently, and some of us carry our
weight in our boobs (and will therefore lose them) and others are simply
busty. Good luck.

I started out at a 44DD and a size 24. Eight months post op I wear a size
4 and wear a 34C bra. The good new is they seem to have gone back to wear
they belong nicely. It is still kind of strange to all of a sudden be
small chested. But I can now wear all of those cute matching bra and panty
sets.

sigh...I just spoke to a plastic surgeon yesterday. It appears that my 48Ds
now fill a 34B but if he lifts them I won't even be a generous A. He said
he would need to use inplants to get a firm B. I'm thinking if I have to go
through the trouble I'll shoot for a C. Still undecided on any of it. My
boobies are GONE girl! Best wishes! -Kim open RNY 7/17/01 -148lbs

Let's see...I was a 42 B back in 1999, had my son, went to a 44-46D...Now,
two years later...I'm about a 46DD with very saggy boobs...you know, the
kind where you have to lift them up to just see the nipple. LOL. I liked
being a C...I could still lay on the floor back then...If I drop down to a
B...I'll be depressed...but I look at it like this...next baby (1 year
after surgery, God willing...that's the plan) will put me back at a C!
WOO HOO!

That seems to be where I have lost all my weight from so far! I think by
the time I finish losing my bra size will be a 38 LONG!!!!!!!!

I started in a 44DDD pre-op and 4 months and 100 pounds later, I am in a
38D. I too was hoping for a smaller size but I became worried after reading
posts a while back because so many women were going all the way down to A
cups! I would be thrilled in a C, even a small C. I still have about 50/60
pounds to lose so I don't know where my boobs will end up, other than
tucked in my jeans! No matter what, I will definitely need a lift and/or
reconstruction.....Good luck to you!......Karen (lap rny- 9/20/02- down 100
pounds!)

I was a 40DD before surgery. Now, I'm, a 36D. The only problem is they
hang down to my new belly button!!

Luckily, I never had huge boobies. Even at my highest weight of 335+, my
bra size was a 44/46C. Now at 194, I'm a 40C (though I'm getting close to a
38C). As the rest of me has gotten considerably smaller but my boobies,
they now appear to be larger, since my cup size hasn't changed. No
complaints about that. I'm also lucky that, while they do point south
(probably due mostly to their shape - at a 36A pre-baby {B cup after 1st
baby, C cup after 2nd baby}, my ex used to refer to them as
"anteaters"), they're not elongated. I think the end results are
a very individual thing.

Well, I guess you could say I've lost them period! I went from 252 lbs and
a size 46DD to 115 lbs and a 34C that is still only holding skin not boobs.
My best friend says I look like I have to empty socks rolled up and stuff
in my bra! Gotta love her though, she's stood by me through this whole
thing and been the best support a girl could ask for. I have noticed a lot
of pains or spasms in my back between my shoulder blades...this may be why.

I no longer have breast, merely skin flaps hanging down, I call them my
bassett hound ears.
