I am always hungry, can we take diet pills?

Before taking any medications talk to your Dr, even over the counter ones.
Be careful of stacks like hydroxycut which contain willow bark. Willow bark
is asprin and can cause ulcers. Have you tried drinking large glasses of
water or sipping tea or broth when hungry? Are you sure you are really
hungry and not just wanting to eat for other reasons? How far out are you?
Maybe you have a disruption or something allowing food to go into the big
stomach? There really isn't enough information in your question, but you
should really talk to your surgeon.
Good luck!

I don't know how far post op you are but my question would be are you
getting enough protein? I went through a really hungry period and kind of
went carb crazy at about 6 months out. I would eat breakfast and before I
got to work I was ready to eat my steering wheel! LOL I upped my protein to
100 grams and stopped eating carbs for breakfast. It seems to be working as
I don't get hungry like I did any more. For a while I ate a protein bar for
my mid-morning snack. That seemed to work on my sweets cravings. This may
not do a lot for you if you are only a month out but may help for later.
Also, I eat several small meals a day (every 3 hours or so) so I never feel
that panic like I have to wait until the next "meal" to eat. I
know if I am hungry now I can eat in an hour or so and I don't get panicked
like I used to when I dieted. I wouldn't take diet pills. Chances are they
will cause more harm than good. This can probably be corrected by adjusting
your protein/carb/fat balance. Remember that protein and fat stay with you
longer and satisfy you longer.
